What is the best age to photograph my newborn baby?
Newborn photography is ideally done between 6-16 days when babies are in that super sleepy, squishy, and curly stage, before baby acne sets in. While sessions can be done with slightly older babies, the ultimate time is during the first week.

Do you have a studio?
Yes! My home-studio, located in Tarzana, is meticulously designed for professional newborn and baby portraits, just 25 minutes from Los Angeles.

How do I prepare for my newborn session?
Once booked, you'll receive a link with tips and information on how to prepare for a smooth session.

Studio vs. In-Home Sessions:

To ensure consistent and high-quality results, newborn sessions are held in my Tarzana studio. Everything is fully prepared prior to your arrival, allowing you to relax while I photograph your baby just feet away.

Do you have all the props?

My studio is fully equipped with a wide array of high-end props, ensuring that we have everything we need to create stunning portraits for your baby's first photo shoot.

How soon can I expect to see and receive my digital images, prints, and products?

I love diving into editing your baby's gallery while the magic of the session is still fresh in my mind. After all, each newborn has their own unique personality!

Your online gallery will be ready within 10-14 days of the session, and fully edited digital files typically take about two weeks to complete. For prints, albums, wall art, and announcements, please allow up to 3 weeks from the order date for delivery.

How long does a newborn session take? 
Full newborn sessions typically last 1-3 hours, allowing for extra feeding and soothing breaks. I firmly believe in keeping sessions under 3 hours for the comfort of both baby and parents.

1. In-home newborn photography sessions can stretch out to 4-5+ hours, which, in my opinion, is excessively long. That's an extended period for your newborn to be handled, and it can be quite taxing for exhausted new parents. Conversely, sessions in my studio typically last about 1-3 hours, making it much easier on both baby and parents. Additionally, in the current Covid times, consider the risk of having someone visit your home who has been in many different households.

2. At my Los Angeles Newborn Photography studio, we take pride in offering an extensive prop selection. Tailored to your color preferences, your precious newborn's session will be thoroughly styled and prepared, with multiple setups ready to go. This means we can seamlessly transition from one setup to another without interrupting your baby's precious sleep time—a luxury you might not have at home where setups can be time-consuming. Plus, there's no need for us to rearrange furniture in your home. Everything is set up before your arrival. Our prop collection boasts a vast array of high-end, handmade bonnets, headbands, hats, wraps, blankets, and stunning wood props sourced from around the world.

3. My studio is climate-controlled to ensure the perfect temperature for newborns, especially when they're unclothed. If you reside in a larger home with high ceilings, achieving the ideal temperature of 82-85 degrees in just one room can be challenging. At my studio, you can rest assured that your baby will be in a safe and hygienic environment, just days old.

4. Simple and Stress-Free! Just bring your baby to me, and I'll handle everything else. In my professional opinion, studio sessions are truly the optimal choice!

From rearranging furniture to entertaining guests, there's always something demanding your attention. However, at my studio, you can truly unwind. On the day of your newborn session, join me at my Los Angeles newborn photography studio. Here, you'll encounter a curated selection of props, backdrops, wraps, and charming headbands ready for your choosing. Delivery of Your Images

Within 14 days of the session, your thoughtfully curated newborn photos will be hand-picked, lightly edited, and prepared for viewing. You'll gain access to a private online gallery where you can effortlessly view and select your favorite images. These images will be high-resolution files, ideal for crafting birth announcement cards, gift prints for loved ones, or simply preserving these cherished moments for years to come.
